Tell us a bit about Peter Beckham? I’m based in Edinburgh, Scotland, with my family. My background is in science and physics, but I taught myself to code during my career. That curiosity about how complex systems interact has never really left me; it’s what drives me to keep asking “why?” and looking for ways to improve.\
What made you decide to join Kosli? Having tried to automate compliance in previous roles, I knew the pain firsthand—so Kosli’s mission instantly resonated. But it was the people who won me over. From my first conversations, it was clear this was a genuinely collaborative team focused on continuous growth, and the flexible culture made it an easy decision.\
What were you doing before Kosli? I’ve spent over 20 years in SaaS startups (primarily in ed-tech), wearing a lot of different hats across product, engineering, DevOps, architecture, and compliance. I love operating where product and infrastructure meet, and I’ve always been drawn to organizations where users genuinely matter and the work makes a real difference. I thrive in dynamic environments where I rarely do just one thing at a time.\
What do you like to do in your spare time? Most of my time revolves around family—whether that’s cooking, getting out for a kick-about, pottering in the garden, or planning our next trip. Beyond that, I’m usually tinkering with computers, getting lost in a good game, or caught up in a book.
