About the job

Do you want to shape the future of software delivery in the financial services industry?

Kosli is looking for a Principal DevOps Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. As part of a fast-paced startup, this role is about helping customers succeed by implementing innovative solutions to transform the way banks and financial institutions deliver software.

About Kosli

Kosli’s mission is to change the way we deliver software in regulated industries. The world is built on mission critical software. It calculates our bank balance. It drives our cars. It diagnoses our illnesses.

We want to empower the engineers who make this software.

When you’re regulated, every change needs to be controlled. This typically means manual paperwork, meetings, delays, and more risk.

We believe this should be automated, and we’re building technology to make this happen.

We are an ambitious group of people and we want you to join us.

We are funded by leading VC investors such as Heavybit (investors in Snyk, LaunchDarkly, CircleCI, Netlify, Tailscale).

About the Role

As a Principal DevOps Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to design and implement high-impact, scalable Kosli implementations. This role spans strategic technical discussions, solution architecture design, implementation support and long-term client management. You’ll collaborate across engineering, product, and sales teams to ensure we deliver best-in-class service and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with technology executives, engineers, and stakeholders in pre-sales technical conversations and long-term relationship management.
  • Design, develop, and oversee solutions to ensure successful deployment of Kosli, meeting customer control and audit requirements.
  • Develop end user documentation, tutorials, blog posts, and videos explaining the capabilities of Kosli
  • Provide product feedback to the engineering team, contributing to the product roadmap with customer insights.
  • Help shape Kosli’s service offerings, including training and onboarding programs for new customers.
  • Support marketing efforts through content creation, including blog posts, webinars, and live events.
  • Collaborate in the Field Services Team to deliver exceptional customer service.

You might be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Solid experience in DevOps and Platform Engineering.
  • Git and version control workflows
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab etc.)
  • Container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, CloudFormation)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Programming and scripting languages (Python, Go, YAML, JSON etc.)
  • A background in financial services or similar regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks, and security requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, SOX, PCI DSS)
  • A track record in consulting, solutions architecture, or technical coaching.
  • Interest in technical sales and supporting go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Perks & Benefits

  • Competitive salary.
  • Generous equity plan.
  • Remote-first working environment with regular travel to customer sites across Europe (London, Zurich, and more).
  • Opportunity to work on innovative solutions with a passionate and driven team.

If you are excited by the idea of transforming software delivery in financial services and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, we would love to hear from you!
