Tell us a bit about yourself
I’ve been working in technology and consultancy for over 30 years, delivering some amazing change programmes, such as NHS24 a 24/7 nurse led contact service, to be involved in setting up a life saving service is still one of my proudest achievements 23 years on. I’ve also set up contract centres for Ford Motor Company, delivered change Programmes in Pharmaceuticals and the Whisky industry (there isnt a link with Whisky and Pharm :-))
I’ve also worked in financial services delivering regulatory programmes and had my own consultancy business. I have a passion for delivering success and supporting businesses grow, I’ve worked with some amazing grads over the past 10 years and it’s been so rewarding to see their development and successes.
What made you decide to come and work for Kosli?
It was a chance conversation with Mike and James, when we got talking it felt a natural fit for both parties, it all happened very quickly, which I love. The opportunity to be part of Kosli really excites me, we have achieved so much in a short time, and the future is really exciting.
What were you doing before Kosli?
Before joining Kosli I was running a team of Programme & Project Managers and technical teams, delivering circa £85m worth of projects for clients in the UK. I’m also on the Board of a Charity called “boycott your bed”
Part of Action for Children in the UK and we raise funds for young children and families by sleeping out rough for 1 night a year (in October, so it can be cold)
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I’m a massive football fan, and love watching my son (22) play, he’s a semi pro goalkeeper, when I’m not watching him, i will go watch Heart of Mid Lothian (Hearts, the Jambos). My daughter (23) is now out in Doha, teaching and my wife and I will be holidaying over there a bit more now. We both try keep fit by doing spin classes and PT sessions.
