Tell us a bit about yourself:
I’m Tahir, a Software Engineering student at OsloMet University. I didn’t always see myself going into tech, but I’ve always been curious about how things work and enjoy solving problems. This curiosity eventually led me to programming, and I’ve been excited to keep learning and developing ever since. Now, I’m focused on building my skills and gaining practical experience within the field.
What made you decide to come and work for Kosli?
I first heard about Kosli during a guest lecture on Test Driven Development by Jon Jagger at my university, and it caught my attention. I took some time to learn more about the company and was drawn to what they stand for. I read about their commitment to diversity, respect and psychological safety – values that really matter to me. It was clear that Kosli puts people first and creates an environment where everyone can do their best work. It felt like a great place to kickstart my professional career and keep growing both personally and professionally.
What were you doing before Kosli?
Before joining Kosli as an intern, I mostly focused on performing well academically and improving my programming skills. I gained a good understanding of core software engineering concepts, which I’m now excited to apply at Kosli.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, mostly basketball, but I have really gotten into padel tennis lately as well. I’m also really into gaming. I like staying active and tackling different kinds of challenges, whether it is on the court or in a game. Travelling is also something I love, as I get to explore new places and experience different cultures.
