Led by Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Venture Capital Group with Participation from Heavybit and Others
Kosli, the leader in Software Delivery Governance automation, today announced it has raised $10 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) group, with participation from Heavybit, Defined, Transpose Platform, and a number of angel investors.
The investment will accelerate Kosli’s expansion into large financial institutions, strengthen its team across all departments, and enhance its platform to deliver more powerful governance automation capabilities.
As part of this milestone, Kosli has launched Kosli Enterprise, a new offering designed for the complex governance and compliance needs of large financial services organizations. Kosli Enterprise combines a secure, append-only evidence platform with expert controls engineering services, helping enterprises map high-level governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) requirements to the fast-moving realities of modern DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Solving the Governance Bottleneck in Financial Services
While financial institutions have made significant progress in automating software delivery pipelines, governance, risk, and compliance processes have lagged behind. Manual governance remains a critical bottleneck—delaying releases, increasing costs, and exposing organizations to unnecessary risk.
Since its founding in 2019, Kosli has worked with leading global banks to overcome these challenges. The Kosli platform automates change controls, delivers real-time visibility across the software lifecycle, and generates trusted audit records—without slowing down development.
“We are delighted to partner and collaborate with Kosli to drive our vision of a highly efficient, transparent, and secure software development lifecycle that empowers our engineers to focus on developing solutions for the bank’s clients.”
— Martin Reeves, Engineering Platforms and Practice Lead, Deutsche Bank
